Northwest Montessori Middle School (NWMMS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to opening a Montessori Farm School for 7^th through 9^th grade, in the Pacific Northwest, in September 2007. NWMMS is a 501(c)(3) organization governed by a board of directors.

Our goal is to develop and operate a school for students aged 12 to 15 based on Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision for the adolescent.  The school will provide the students with land-based work and study, social development through extended periods of time living and working together, and preparation for adult life through academic studies, meaningful work, and interchange with the larger community.
